**Job Title: AI Integration Engineer Intern**

**Job Summary**  
As an AI Integration Engineer Intern at Syntax, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of AI agents that seamlessly integrate with leading ERP systems, including SAP and Oracle. This internship offers you the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while gaining hands-on experience in AI technologies, cloud computing, and enterprise application integration. Your work will directly impact customer deployments and help streamline business processes through automation.

**Key Responsibilities**  
- Assist in the design and development of AI agents to integrate with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
- Contribute to building workflows using AI and LLM technologies (Generative AI) and ERP connectors.
- Help test, debug, and optimize AI agent performance for customer deployments.
- Support cloud platform deployment activities and integration configuration.
- Work on internal innovation projects, proofs-of-concept, and demos with guidance from senior team members.
- Learn and apply best practices in AI, cloud-native development, and ERP application integration.
- Maintain basic technical documentation and contribute to project deliverables.

**Required Qualifications**  
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent (recently completed or about to graduate).
- Solid academic foundation in programming (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java) and software engineering principles.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts through coursework, capstone projects, or internships.
- Understanding of cloud computing fundamentals (AWS, Azure, or other platforms preferred).
- Basic knowledge of data structures, APIs, and REST services.
- Willingness to learn ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Oracle EBS/JDE) and enterprise integration.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Self-starter attitude with curiosity for AI and business process automation.

**Preferred Qualifications**  
- Internship or project work involving AI, software integration, or ERP modules.
- Familiarity with cloud AI tools like Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or OCI AI Services.
- Academic or extracurricular projects that demonstrate creative AI-driven problem-solving.
- Participation in hackathons, research labs, or innovation challenges.

**Education & Certifications**  
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or currently enrolled in a program).
- Relevant certifications in AI, cloud computing, or ERP systems are a plus.
