Salesforce Developer

Syntax is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our Global Sales Operations team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and customizing Salesforce solutions to meet business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop technical solutions, and ensure the effective implementation and integration of Salesforce globally at Syntax.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Support and design complex Salesforce Flows involving both Standard and Custom Objects
  • Develop APEX classes, Triggers, Visual force pages, Controllers, writing Workflows, REST API Integration
  • Manage Web Services development and experience with the Salesforce API (REST/SOAP/Metadata, etc.)
  • Work with .Net, JavaScript, Web Services technologies to support integrations
  • Configuration, customize, and program with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers
  • Code for developments involving 3rd party web services (using callouts), using triggers, batch Apex, scheduled Apex, session management).
  • ServiceNow-Salesforce integration experience is a plus
  • Integrate Salesforce with other systems using Salesforce APIs and third-party tools.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of the Salesforce platform.
  • Assess and document existing developments and integrations to ensure sustainability.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, and data integrity within the Salesforce environment.
  • Assist with the deployment of new Salesforce features and functionality.
  • Oversee Sales and Marketing CRM integration data flow and funnel reporting.

 

Competencies

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and APIs.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Experience with .Net, JavaScript, Web Services
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations and third-party tools.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce FLOWs workflows, process builder, and automation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and customization.
  • Salesforce Developer certification mandatory.
