SAP Technical ABAP Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Technical ABAP Consultant  with more than 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP development in the S/4 HANA environment. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining SAP solutions to support business processes while ensuring high-quality delivery and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and enhance SAP modules using ABAP programming to meet business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective technical designs.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize SAP applications for performance and scalability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, coding standards, and user guides.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, quality standards, and security protocols.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution reliability.
• Provide technical support for SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
• Stay updated on SAP technologies, particularly new developments in ABAP.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• ABAP/4 programming (Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, Adobe Forms, SmartForms, Scripts, ALE/IDocs, Enhancements).
• Object-Oriented ABAP and CDS (Core Data Services) Views.
• Troubleshooting and debugging scenarios.
• Performance tuning and Code checks
• Experience in S/4 HANA migration projects is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with OData, IDocs, and RFCs.
• Good understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, PM, PP, EWM
