We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Technical ABAP Consultant with CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP development and SAP CPI for seamless system integrations. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining SAP solutions to support business processes while ensuring high-quality delivery and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and enhance SAP modules using ABAP programming to meet business and technical requirements.
- Design and implement SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) solutions to integrate SAP systems with third-party or legacy systems.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective technical designs.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize SAP applications for performance and scalability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, coding standards, and user guides.
- Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, quality standards, and security protocols.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution reliability.
- Provide technical support for SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
- Stay updated on SAP technologies, particularly new developments in ABAP and CPI.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and 2+ years of experience in SAP CPI.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- ABAP/4 programming (Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, SmartForms, Scripts, ALE/IDocs, Enhancements).
- SAP CPI for building and deploying integration flows.
- Object-Oriented ABAP and CDS (Core Data Services) Views.
- Troubleshooting and debugging CPI integration scenarios.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA environment and migration projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with integration protocols like SOAP, REST, OData, IDocs, and RFCs.
- Proficiency in technical tools like Eclipse, SAP Web IDE, and API Management.
- Good understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, and their integration touchpoints.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certifications in ABAP or CPI.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
