SAP Technical Consultant (ABAP and Fiori Development)

Job Description:

Technical Skills:

• Must have strong ABAP Development skills and hands-on technical skills: Adobe Forms, Enhancements (BADI’s, User Exits), Interfaces (Web Services, File, etc.), ALE (IDOCS, EDI), BAPI’s and Function Module
• Must have strong Fiori / SAPUI5 and Javascript development skillsets
• Must have Hands-On Development experience in OData and/or REST services
• Having experience in Fiori Extensions, Custom Fields and Logic and In-App Extensibility will be an asset
• Experience with S/4 HANA and a strong understanding of S/4 concepts and technologies
• Experience with CDS Views development will be an asset
• Experience with Workflow development will be an asset
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented concepts and extensive experience with Object-Oriented ABAP development and programming
• Strong understanding of SAP Technical Best Practices
• Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements
• Experience with business requirements gathering process, technical analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, and implementation of customizations within the SAP environment

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to write detailed technical specifications
• Ability to interact with SME’s and other project team members in a project setting
• Successful teamwork experience (collaborating on group/team projects)
• Shows dedication, discipline, commitment, grit
• Ability to articulate and present different points of view on various technologies
• Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative

Other Requirements:

• University degree in a related area of study (Computer Science)
• A strong track record of educational success – references will be a plus
