SAP FICO Consultant – Production Support (P1/P2 Tickets) with HANA Experience
Experience: 6–8 Years
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with SAP HANA experience to provide production support and incident management. The role involves handling P1 and P2 priority tickets, ensuring timely resolution of finance-related issues, performing root cause analysis, and maintaining stability of SAP Finance processes.
The consultant will work closely with business users and technical teams to resolve critical issues related to Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules in a HANA or S/4HANA environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support & Incident Management
- Handle P1 and P2 priority incidents related to SAP FICO modules and ensure resolution within SLA timelines.
- Analyze and resolve production issues impacting finance business processes.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventive solutions.
- Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP, BASIS, Integration) for issue resolution.
SAP FICO Functional Support
- Provide support for Financial Accounting (FI) modules including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Support Controlling (CO) processes including:
- Cost Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Profit Center Accounting
- Product Costing (basic exposure preferred)
HANA / S4HANA Environment Support
- Work in SAP HANA or S/4HANA environments supporting finance processes.
- Support financial data analysis, reporting issues, and performance optimization.
- Coordinate with technical teams for HANA-related enhancements and data corrections.
Required Skills
- 6–8 years of experience in SAP FICO functional consulting
- Strong experience in production support and handling P1/P2 incidents
- Hands-on experience in:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Cost Center Accounting
- Profit Center Accounting
- Experience working in SAP HANA or S/4HANA environments
- Strong knowledge of finance business processes
Preferred Skills
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance
- Knowledge of Fiori finance applications
- Experience with integration with MM and SD modules
- Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy
- Understanding of ITIL-based support processes
