Professional Services - Oracle EBS

This role will be based out of India, reporting to Senior Director – Professional Services. In this role, the resource will be working on client projects as a functional consultant and solution architect. The resource will be responsible for providing functional support, solutions, completing configurations, preparing functional design documents for custom solutions, documenting configuration documents and other activities that are required for a successful delivery of support/implementation/upgrade projects for Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion. This resource will also require coordination across all teams – both external and internal – and will work with the appropriate people, processes, and tools to provide successful functional solutions for business requirements in the customer’s complex application environments

Responsibilities: 

  • Excellent customer facing skills, Excellent communication skills – both Oral and Written.
  • Conducting interviews and providing feedback to recruitment team. Helping recruitment team in finalizing the right resources for Syntax
  • Responsible for providing Functional support, Functional configurations of EBS Financial Modules (namely AP, AR, GL, FA Cash Management and iExpense) of Oracle EBS, deployment/cutover, and Implementation of Oracle EBS - covering all functional aspects of the implementation/support lifecycle of Oracle EBS.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Should be hands-on to work on the EBS application and provide solutions to simple to complex business requirements.
  • Should have excellent debugging skills to debug production issues and provide a solution to fix the issue.
  • Responsible for the design, solution and delivery of any project that involves Oracle EBS. 
  • Provide post-go live support for all deployed modules in responsible area(s).
  • Understanding Business Requirements, performing highly complex analysis and presenting various options and recommendations to the client.
  • Participating in Client calls to understand client requirements and provide various options/solutions to the client.
  • Assist and work under minimal supervision in client projects.
  • Responsible for managing client relationships within context of the individual role.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic priorities.
  • Should be open to work on support projects (AMS) and implementation projects.
  • Should be open to work in rotational shifts.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Required Skills –

  • Should have a total experience of 12-15 years in Oracle EBS/Fusion Cloud
  • Should have good communication skills – both Oral and written.
  • Any Domain experience would be an added advantage.
  • Should have good functional knowledge in Oracle Financials of R11i, R12.1.x, R12.2.x versions of Oracle EBS.
  • Should have completed at least two Oracle EBS implementation and Upgrade projects.
  • Should have experience in working on support projects (AMS) for R11i, R12.1.x, R12.2.x versions of Oracle EBS.
  • Should have strong functional knowledge in Financial Modules – AR, AR, GL, FA, iExpenses, Cash Management - of Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion (preferred).
  • Experience in support and implementation of Oracle Fusion Application would be an added advantage.
  • Should have a good knowledge on the new features in Oracle EBS R12.2.x
  • Should possess hands-on skills on Oracle EBS/Oracle Fusion, good debugging skills and should be able to provide solutions.
  • Should be able to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all types of issues and should be able to provide a solution that will permanently fix the issue.
  • Should be able to participate in Requirements Gathering sessions, document requirements and provide a solution for the requirements.
  • Should be able to manage the functional support work of a client project without any dependency.
  • Should be well versed with Oracle AIM/OUM methodology.
