Consultant, SAP S/4H Conversion Basis

S/4H Consultant - BASIS & FIORI

· Ability to perform and execute SAP S/4H Conversion projects efficiently and successfully

· Install, Configure, Administer and Support SAP S/4HANA Release x, ERP6.0 EHPx, Process Orchestrator, BW, BPC, FIORI/Gateway, Solution Manager, Web Dispatcher, Content Server, Adobe Document Services, Business Objects

· Install, configure and Monitor HANA Database.

· Administer, manage, and support SAP Clients, Transports, Users, Roles.

· Day-to-Day system monitoring of a 3 tier SAP landscape.

· Document Standards, Systems Architecture, BASIS Runbooks, and Monitoring Infrastructure.

· Work seamlessly with Security team to assign security roles, catalogs and groups in Gateway server and ECC back-end.

· Functionality Testing: Knowledge of and ability to use testing methodologies, processes and tools for testing of functionality, including unit, integration, system, regression and dry run testing.

· Support of project tasks under project deadlines.

· Provide support (e.g., break/fix, how to expertise, minor enhancements, monitoring, testing) for business applications or infrastructure to associates or third-parties to maintain their productivity level (including international and fourth level break/fix support).

· Work very closely with other project consultants (BASIS, Functional, Security, Development and PMO).

· Oral, written and interpersonal skills.

· Troubleshooting skills.

Required Skills & Experience:

· 7+ Year SAP BASIS experience with SAP ERP or S/4HANA Support or Operational tasks.

· 7+ Year SAP BASIS experience with SAP JAVA Support or Operational tasks.

· AS-Java (can be a Portal Java, PO Java, etc.) experience.

· Strong DBA Skills (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, HANA, SYBASE).

· Strong OS Skills (Windows and Linux SLES or Linux REDHAT).

· Basic networking skills.

· Understand the S/4HANA conversion process.

· Experience in Implementing Java Support Package Upgrades.

· Understand SSO based on SAML authentication.

· Understand SAP Readiness Check report is a must-have.

· Understanding of various FIORI deployment options.

· Experience with JavaScript and XML.

· Strong communication and time management skills; experience with multi-tasking between projects is an asset.

· Must possess traits of dependability, reliability, task-oriented and focused, ability to follow 'cookbook' and methodology (S/4H Conversion methodology).

· Consultant must show independence, ability to follow through with tasks to completion, willingness to take initiative where required.

· Ability to Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance and recommendations for next steps is a very important asset to have.

Nice-to-Have:

· Experience in SAP Cloud Platform, Cloud Connector, Cloud SSO is a plus.

· SAP Certifications is a definite plus.

· AWS, Azure, GCP certification.

· S/4H Conversion experience.

· Experience in cloud-based Fiori implementations with focus on a hybrid S/4 landscape.

· Experience in Solman 7.2.

· Experience with FIORI Pages and Spaces (or Catalogs, Tiles), Front-end and Back-end security roles.

· ABAP experience.

· Hands-on experience using SUM, DMO tools and deep knowledge of all phases of the S/4H Conversion process:

·              Maintenance Planner, Readiness Check Report, SI Catalog Report, Remote ATC Report.

· Experience in implementing different SAP authentication scenarios for traditional ABAP, Java and Gateway systems/applications using Kerberos, SAML.

· Familiarity with UI5 and the structures of UI5 applications.

Education:

· University Degree Preferred

· SAP Academy or previous formal SAP BASIS Training
