Delivery/Project Manager (m/w/d) - Product Development

As Delivery/Project Manager (m/f/d) Your job is to lead the end-to-end delivery of innovative software solutions within GBI, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to align project objectives with business needs and product strategy. As the Delivery Manager, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies, acting as the key point of contact for project stakeholders, and implementing Agile best practices to drive efficiency. By driving the delivery of cutting-edge solutions, you will contribute to our growth and success while shaping the future of our organization.

Your responsibilities  

Manage the end-to-end delivery of product development in all product lifecycle stages, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Oversee the delivery of multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, milestones, and budget controls.

Act as an agile expert, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospective meetings while removing obstacles and driving continuous improvement in the Agile process.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in different geographical locations to coordinate efforts and streamline processes.

Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the lifecycle.

Implement best practices for delivery management, focusing on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Facilitate meetings, workshops, and reviews to gather requirements, resolve issues, and track progress.

Monitor milestones and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives using appropriate tools and techniques (e.g., JIRA, MS Teams

Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

Support product development teams with insights and feedback to enhance delivery outcomes and to foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning.

Your profile

Minimum of 7 years of experience in delivery management or project management, preferably in a software product development context.

Proven ability to work with remote and cross-functional teams and leading projects across multiple locations.

Expertise in agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban), including experience as a Scrum master.

Experience in product development processes and lifecycles

Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle in enterprise environments, preferably with a technical background in software engineering or SAP consulting.

Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and communication platforms (e.g., MS Teams).

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.

Strong communication skills in English language, German language skill would be a plus.

Mandatory Requirements:

Nationality or Work Authorization: Spanish or Portuguese nationality, or alternatively a permanent work permit/VISA for Spain or Portugal.

Language Proficiency: Advanced level of Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
