As a System Engineer (m/f/d) Storage, you'll be essential in advancing our Syntax Enterprise Cloud, ensuring its seamless operation and optimization while supporting backup operations.

These exciting tasks await you:

• You will work in an international team in the storage, SAN and backup area of the Syntax Enterprise Cloud 
• You operate, automate and monitor high available storage systems based on NetApp and Pure
• You provide expertise in analyzing, optimizing and troubleshooting storage systems
• Plan and implement migrations, firmware, and application updates
• Maintain comprehensive documentation

Your Profile:

• Several years of professional experience managing storage systems in large and mission-critical environments
• In-depth knowledge of NetApp products, including ONTAP, FAS/ASA, StorageGRID and E-Series
• Proven experience in delivering object storage and S3 services
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Ansible and Python
• Experience with Pure, Cisco MDS and CommVault is a plus.
• Availability on rotating on-call duty and occasional support for customer projects outside production hours (with separate remuneration)
